Rice Cereal

It's so hard to believe that Kaylee is old enough to be eating rice cereal already.  We decided last Saturday night (October 25th) that we should start feeding it to her, hoping that she may decide to fill up on it & then sleep a bit longer at night.  (By the way - she's still waking up between 1-3 times a night...most, but not all nights...so Mommy is ready for some good sleep again!)

She started off a little slow with the cereal (Justin did the honors of feeding her for the first time since I seem to get to feed her 99.9% of all of the milk she has ever consumed), but she jumped on board the "big girl" eating wagon quickly & LOVES to eat now!  We started off just giving her 1 Tablespoon of cereal mixed with some of my milk, but within just a couple of days, we've already upped her to 2 Tablespoons mixed with formula (her first formula ever!) & she gobbles every bit of it down!!  We plan on starting with Stage 1 foods within the next few weeks with her, but for now, she's LOVING the rice cereal!!
