Labor Day Weekend

Justin's parents came down to visit us during this long Labor Day weekend.  They got here on Thursday evening & stayed until this morning (Monday).  We had a great time -- Justin and his Dad, Kevin, got some good scouting done up at Lake Georgetown where Justin will be deer hunting here in a few weeks....and Wenona & I did some major shopping around town, which was fun as well!We took the boat out on Friday to Lake Austin and had a blast!  Kevin & Justin rode the wakeboard & skis, and then Austin took a round on the tube with his PawPaw!  We ate lunch at "Ski Shores Cafe" on the waterfront & had the best burger & fries we've had in a long time!

Saturday morning, Justin & I got up and ran (Justin ran 3 miles...I ran 2.5 miles) while his parents stayed home & slept in with the kids.  After breakfast, the day called for more shopping for us girls and a relaxing afternoon back at the house.  On Sunday, Justin & his Dad headed back to Lake Georgetown for more scouting, while Wenona & I (and both kids) did even MORE shopping up at the outle

ts just a few miles from our house.  We drove out to Dripping Springs that night for dinner at "The Salt Lick BBQ", then back home in just enough time for bedtime!

We had a great weekend & were glad to be able to show his parents around Austin a bit more!
