Austin weighs a whopping 36 pounds and is 3 ft 3 inches tall. The doctor was happy with how he's doing & said that he's in a healthy, normal range for boys his age. It was too cute because this was his first doctor's visit where he got to put on a little robe & have his blood pressure checked, etc. He wasn't sure what to think about the robe -- he thought the nurse was making him wear a dress! -ha-
Kaylee is growing great as well! She weighs 13 pounds, 1 ounce (50th percentile for girls her age) and is 24.75 inches long (75th percentile) -- the doctor said she'll probably be tall & skinny judging by these measurements. Her measurements are still right on track as they were at her past few check-ups, so the doctor was happy with her too! It's so crazy to think that she's already 4 months old & that in another couple of months, we'll be giving her rice cereal in her high chair at the table! Unbelievable how fast time is flying by!
All-in-all, I am feeling so blessed & so lucky to have two healthy, wonderful children. I thank God for giving us two awesome kids! Austin never fails to amaze me every day -- between things he says & new things he tries...and Kaylee's strength is getting better every day. She can totally control her neck by herself now (no more holding onto her head when we pick her up -- she's a pro at controlling it herself!), and is on the verge of rolling over. She rolled over on the bed last night, but Justin said we're not going to count it as her "first" until she's on the flat ground rolling over (the blankets may have helped her a bit on the bed...). When she's on her belly, she holds her head up so well, so I know her neck muscles are developing well!
(This picture is one that we had done with our family pics - and I love it! Enjoy!)
