New Orleans... on the way to Florida

So, continuing on through our crazy 2 weeks...

We left Lubbock after my graduation late Saturday afternoon.  We got home that night around 10pm & spent the night in our own house (yippee!) before heading out the next morning at 7am for Florida.  Justin's parents treat us all to a yearly trip to the beach & we were Panama City Beach bound!

We drove to New Orleans on Sunday, checked into our hotel in the French Quarter & started walking around looking for something yummy for dinner.  On the way there, I ran into PUGH ANTIQUES, and of course had to have a pic taken...

After dinner at Acme Oyster House, we walked down Bourbon, only to walk back down again & head back to the hotel...

While at the hotel that night, I called my Mom & found out that my Dad was in the ER in Fort Smith because of having chest pains; he had been having them since during my graduation on Saturday & just hadn't said anything to anyone.  So, the drive to Florida on Monday involved me finding out that Dad was going to have open-heart surgery & trying to figure out what to do about all of that.
