One of my best friends from high school...and college...and beyond was in Austin this past weekend with her band,
3 Penny Acre. They did a show in front of Whole Earth Provisions with their sponsor, Simple shoes. I left the kids at home with Justin and got a few hours away to go listen to her & her band sing & play, and then to visit with her for a bit. It was great getting to just sit & enjoy 3PA, the beautiful weather, and her company. I miss Shannon, but am so thankful that her travels bring her down by way a few times a year...
